The Testing Device AV-60RP is designed to test the insulation of solid dielectrics by sinusoidal voltage (AC) up to 60 kV with frequency of 50 Hz and monitoring the magnitude of capacitance of the object during the test.

The AV-60RP testing device consist of two separate units:

• control unit with regulating autotransformer (40A) on the hand truck;
• high-voltage unit on the hand truck.

The Testing Device AV-60RP with a microprocessor module, allows to:

• set the limit value of a load current and test voltage;
• set the time of the test;
• monitor values of capacitance of the test object;
• monitor a rate of voltage rise.

Capacitance of a test object it is very important parameter and together with characteristics such as dielectric loss tangent, can serve as a diagnostic parameter of a test object.
