Description

The Testing Device HVTD-70/50D is designed for testing the insulation of power cables (6, 10, 15, 20, 35 kV) with DC voltage up to 70 kV. Testing of cable armour (shielding). Testing of solid dielectrics with AC sine-wave voltage up to 50 kV.

Typical areas of application for testing:

high voltage elements of switchgears;
bushing insulators of high voltage transformers;
vacuum or air commutating elements;
all elements of transformer substations which are commutating and distributes output voltage of high voltage transformer;
vacuum chambers of high voltage switches;

For laboratory and research works.

The HVTD-70/50D testing device consist of two separate units:

control unit;
high-voltage unit.

This separation enables the operator to use the test set on-site without any complications.
