Description
Fault location system SVPA is designed for:
- testing insulation of cables and other devices and appliances by DC high voltage up to 20 kV;
- burning faulty insulation of cables with its subsequent after-burning;
- topographic surveying of cable line damage places by using the induction, potentional and acoustic methods with a geophone;
- distance-finding to cable damage places by voltage of 0,4-20 kV by using the pulse non-burning method at high and low voltage by methods TDR, ICE, Decay with a reflectometer.
