PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT

The MSP-40-6 is a fully automatic high-voltage testing system designed for dielectric testing of electrical insulating gloves, boots and sleeves.

The system is equipped with 6 independent high-voltage transformers and allows simultaneous testing of up to 6 dielectric gloves. Depending on the installed test accessories and operating configuration, the machine can also be used for testing insulating boots and sleeves.

The complete test cycle is automated. After the test objects have been prepared and the safety conditions are confirmed, routine testing is initiated with a single START command.

6 INDEPENDENT HIGH-VOLTAGE TEST CIRCUITS

Each glove test position is supplied by its own independent 40 kV high-voltage transformer. A total of 6 independent transformers are installed in the MSP-40-6.

If electrical breakdown occurs in one test object, the corresponding high-voltage circuit is disconnected while the unaffected circuits continue operating. This prevents a single failed item from unnecessarily interrupting the complete batch test.

Independent test circuits also provide stable test conditions and individual monitoring of the tested PPE.

FULLY AUTOMATIC TESTING CYCLE

The automatic system manages the main stages of the test process, including preparation of the water level, positioning/immersion of the test objects, voltage application, measurement, timing, protection and completion of the test cycle.

Ready-made test programs can be selected according to the type and class of PPE. The operator can also define individual test parameters when required.

For routine operation, the complete automatic sequence is started with one START command, reducing operator involvement and improving repeatability between tests.

SAFETY BY DESIGN

The MSP-40-6 is designed as an enclosed automatic high-voltage testing system with integrated interlocks, electrical protections and automatic grounding functions.

The safety system prevents access to hazardous high-voltage parts during operation and controls the machine status before high voltage can be applied. The enclosed design eliminates the need for the operator to work directly within the high-voltage test area during the automatic test cycle.

CONTROL SYSTEM

The machine is operated through a microprocessor-based control system with a colour touch-screen interface. The control system provides clear visualization of the test process and allows the operator to select predefined programs or enter custom test parameters.

EXTERNAL HIGH-VOLTAGE SOURCE CONTROL

The MSP-40-6 control system can also control an external high-voltage source, allowing the machine to serve as the central control platform for additional PPE testing applications.

When used with dedicated external Venko testing stands, the system can be expanded for testing hot sticks and insulating rods, voltage indicators and phase comparators, insulating blankets and mats, insulating covers and other electrical safety equipment.

Compatible external testing equipment can include:

• SD-1 and SD-4 – hot stick and insulating rod testing stands
• SW-1 – voltage indicator and phase comparator testing stand
• IMT-40 – insulating mat and blanket testing equipment
• CTS-1 and CTS-2/3 – testing systems for insulating protective equipment
• BTS-36 – testing equipment for additional insulating protective products

The available test voltage and testing range depend on the connected external high-voltage source and the selected testing stand.
